1. I found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful, but the housekeeping staff to be lacking in skills, though apparently nice enough.

2. Since I was only staying two nights, I was happy to not have to worry about housekeeping entering my room (the coupon was beside the point; I didn't even use it, but the desk clerk at check out said she could convert it to 500 Starwood points, so I did that), so I signed up for the deal.
