1. I asked the concierge to recommend the best bookshop in town and she recommended the Tattered Cover Book Store which was so good I bought five books.

6. There are many interesting things in the hotel and it would be easy for them to have a small treasure hunt set up for young guests, such as finding the upside down panels etc. However, no one remembered my name and the Concierge absolutely stinks.

8. I realize that Brown Palace has a draw for it's Historic Publicity, but I found it very ho-hum, we were treated as a number not a name, with the exception of Vince in Concierge who was always kind and helpful, just overworked, and understaffed with a line always waiting.
"A forgettable stay... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/9/2010 Vote
9. One caveat -- the concierge recommended and booked the 'Super Shuttle' van over a taxi to the airport since, at $19, it was better than 1/2 the price of a taxi.
"Lovely & Memorable Respite - grande dame with modern amenities and welcoming staff. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/6/2010 Vote
