1. The hotel has a lot of character and opportunity to be pampered- with a cool cigar bar, AMAZING champagne Sunday brunch, live music in the atrium, and great spa.

6. The nautical-themed bar was packed and pretty wild on Friday night, but in an old fashioned, classy kind of way, with an old upright piano and somebody belting out show tunes with lots of people singing along.

8. The rooms are much better decorated, the lobby is not to be compared, the bar is far superior offering a much better menu and the afternoon tea is not to be surpassed unless you leave the US.
