1. No need to venture anywhere else with such an adventurous and menu downstairs (kudos to using local farms and businesses in your menu) With a spa next door with core fusion classes (was sore for a good 3 days:), a wonderful, unpretentious staff, and it's proximity, we will DEFINITELY be making this a yearly trip.

Pros: Free wine tasting each evening, great location close to downtown Dallas on I-75, great spa, nice pool and hot tub area (they will serve drinks and food at the pool, but you call from a phone at the pool to have it delivered), rooms very clean and spacious, quiet rooms, great decor, restaurant has organic and vegan options (overall great food).

5. The Palomar Dallas is one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in, combining modern luxury, an excellent position, friendly and helpful staff and every facility you could want from pool to spa to free wi-fi and courtesy tea and coffee.
