In no particular order, I wish to personally thank the general

, Andrew Wright, for gifts and conveniences offered to my family.

The
manager
was very polite, but he was training a new kid that was clueless in a wrinkled blazer and shirt, and the shirt was a TUX SHIRT, cotton, black buttons, un ironed, no tie (on with of them, actually).

I did answer the survey that Kimpton Hotel customer service routinely sends out, but why am I NOT surprised that the hotel
manager
did not follow up, as (s)he does for Trip Advisor postings.

In the morning we asked the
manager
and hostess at the restaurant if our state fair ticket stubs would work for breakfast as we would not be around later for dinner.

We had asked 'Hal' if there were any soaking tub rooms available, Hal replied 'yes' for an upgrade charge, no problem for us to pay the upgrade BUT what was sort of disappointing to my husband and I was that during the check-in process the other front desk
manager
spoke over his walkie-talkie to remove the complementary room amenities from 519 to 619 in front of us.
