1. I needed a hotel where I could relax and wake fully rested, without being too far from my destinations in Oak Lawn and UT Southwestern Medical Center; and the Hotel Palomar was a much better option than anything near Stemmons Freeway.

4. The small thorn to an otherwise supremely perfect stay is that the hotel is beside a freeway, which you will hear at night if your room faces the freeway.

5. (I think odd-numbered rooms 1-15 on each floor face the freeway; and as far as hotels beside freeways, the noise isn't that bad - sort of a white noise.

6. At first the location (intersection of 2 freeways)was a little disconcerting, but soon discovered that the location to the train station etc and the quality of this hotel and its staff were all far more important.

9. Our hotel was right off the freeway and I mean right off we passed the entrance when we checked in and came in the wrong way but the valet said no problem.
