8. + Great Marriott service (I think that Marriott has the most consistent good service of any large organization)+ Beautiful public spaces -- feels like being a well-to-do traveler circa 1935+ Lovely bar+ Nicely decorated room+ Large room service menu with outstanding service+ comfortable beds with more pillows than anyone could possibly need.
