1. The short stay in this charming hotel added a great deal to our visit Fortunately, the weather was perfect and we were very comfortable walking around the campus and reaching the main university circle street.

2. The modern bowl on table sinks were awkward and left little area for wife to put her makeup, etc. Parking lot behind hotel is small and you may have to park out on street (it's free).

Pros: Nicely appointed, very friendly staff (particularly the bartender and the breakfast attendant), very good complimentary breakfast and Wall Street Journal, reasonably pricedCons: Rooms were somewhat small; they are annoyingly obsessive about pushing the restaurant next door (we did not eat there based on the reviews by other travelers).

6. Just across the Street from the university library and close to the Botanical Garden, this is a carefully tended hotel that feels more like an inn that it does a big rooming house.
