1. The hotel also charge for wifi in the room which is fine if you're a road warrior so our only option was to use the free wifi in the lobby which was rather inconvenient.

2. The staff was very friendly - in the afternoon I sat by one of the outside fountains (since wireless cost $10 upstairs and is free in all common areas) and one of the staff brought me ice water without even being requested.

4. I agree that the lack of free Wifi in all the rooms no matter the rate is ridiculous in 2009, though I encountered the same thing later in this trip at the 3 1/2 star Marriott in Fort Collins: internet was extra if you booked a cheap rate.

7. The WiFi was a bit on the unreliable side, which may have been a combination of attempting to use the WiFi with a MacBook and our room being at the limit of the WiFi.
