5. We were there for the Boston marathon in April 2011 and for the price that we paid per night, I think we were overpaid.

You would think they would set up transportation to another hotel, set up the reservation, pay the difference in price, and while they were on the phone with Amex comp a lunch in the lounge (yes last time a hotel had a problem with our reservation, they did solve it, but offered us lunch while they resolved it).
