1. All that being said, the hotel is within walking distance to the baseball and football stadiums so my husband and son made a mental note for any future 'guy trips '.

2. It is suggested that guests not walk to the Inner Harbor or M&T Bank Stadium, even though these venues are within walking distance.
""Holiday Inn-->Express" to the Pier " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/8/2012 Vote
3. The only bummer is that there really is absolutely nothing within walking distance - no where to take a walk or get an ice cream.
"Great stay - if location doesn't matter " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/15/2011 Vote
4. You can certainly walk back from the stadiums during the day (my 16 year old daughter and I did), but we left before the end of the race and there weren't a lot of people about and it wasn't the most comfortable walk I've ever taken with another woman (and I am a former New Yorker).

5. I chose this hotel as it was within walking distance to the M&T Bank Stadium, where the concert was held.
"Close to the stadium " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/24/2011 Vote
6. The free shuttle to and from the ball park was a nice touch (it was close enough to walk though).
"Great hotel right near the stadium " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/18/2010 Vote
7. Indeed, the football stadium is within walking distance and while the immediate neighborhood isn't terribly inviting, it's so easy to get to the touristy areas, that doesn't matter - and the price is right.
"Location, location, location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/25/2010 Vote
8. We loved the proximity to the ball field as well as the proximity to walk to the inner harbor in Baltimore.

9. Other reviewers of this hotel mentioned the street people washing windshields and panhandlers and they were accurate; but they are not there all the time and there is nowhere to walk to anyway except to maybe the stadium(s) when there is a game.
"Hotel is remarkably very good but the location is just the opposite " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2009 Vote
10. Not a good choice if you want to walk to the Inner Harbor.
