1. We ate at the Big Sur Oyster Bar (the dozen Louisiana Gold Seal Oysters were really good and the shrimp cocktail had three huge prawn), Del Mar Deli, Coronado Cafe and Steak and Shake (if you just want to get take out make sure you stand in the left hand line.

2. I found the Big Sur Oyster Bar first class (oysters feature in only one dish and it is basically a seafood restaurant).

4. The southpoint Casino is just next door, so really close to restraunts buffett, bars, cinema etc. About 6 miles from strip so nice and peacfull ,but you will need a car to get around.
