1. The no resort fee has its downfalls, just be aware of the extras you'll have to pay for.

2. All in all, a great trip that was made better by the awesome service at Bally's front desk - We continue to stay at Harrah's resorts because we refuse to pay resort fees an service like this makes it easy to continue doing so.

3. They did try to nickel and dime us, but it was all optional stuff, like the shampoo, soda machine, a $9 fee at the ATM and so on.

5. Bally's may not have the resort fee but think twice about staying with them as they do not care about their guests at all.

6. Probably the only two gripes I had (and they are very minor, at that) are 1) the TV is still old school (so not flat panel, not LCD) and the Internet fee is exorbitant, even for Wi-Fi (which I have come to expect for free at upscale hotels).

7. After staying at places like the Venetian, Wynn, and Treasure Island and paying $22.40 a night for resort fees, I decided to find a hotel without resort fees.
