1. If you plan on visiting downtown Austin I strongly recommend you rent a car - I had planned on taking taxis everywhere but they seem to be in limited supply in that area.

4. This summer I am commuting to Austin three days a week and will have stayed at a hotel over 40 times this summer, I was wonderfully surprised that a hotel so close to downtown (20 minutes) would be such a nice experience.
