4. Front desk staff very helpful and polite, particularly the tall slender woman in her 20s who processed our check in, who was positively effervescent and made us feel very welcome.

9. Beware of the staff as I suspect they are being paid to recommend using taxis, the girl on the check-in desk tried to convince us that we needed a taxi to get downtown, which we did not.

10. The Ramada is a good location to stay in Austin, we were able to check-in before 3pm which was good because after the 7am flight from LAX we were a bit tired and was good to drop off the bags and head over to Georgetown to see family.
