1. Very close to 6th street (by car especially) and also a cool neighborhood near the school so there are a lot of cool little shops and restaurants with nice prices.

6. Given the pretty steep prices charged over New Year, it was irritating to have to pay $10 a day extra for wifi access - the only such charge we encountered anywhere in Texas, and this in the city which is supposed to be the high-tech leader in the South.
