To sum it up:* not in the best neighborhood* clean enough, but the rooms are fairly old* rooms are small (but big enough for me)* staff is very nice* there is a great bar across the street (with free WIFI)* there are nice restaurants nextdoor (both sides)* it has a great connection to the san francisco public transport (MUNI).

7. This is a wonderful early 1900's building with lots of character, cozy sitting areas on every floor, very nice room decor, etc. The location is perfect, with a multitude of great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, and about a 15 minute drive to the airport.
