You have a wonderful crepe and coffee shop ( Jonabene?) directly across the
street
and along Geary there are upscale bars (Swig) as you walk toward Union Square.

The little Mexican take away just up the
street
has great cheap food and ther are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as small supermarkets.

The location is good, not too far from the Rapid Transit (BART) system, which is around 10-15 minutes on foot, and there are plenty of buses going up and down Van Ness

, which is the next block.
