is about half a mile from Union Square and about a mile and a half from Fisherman's Wharf, so it's an excellent

for all of the tourist areas.

is good, not too far from the Rapid Transit (BART) system, which is around 10-15 minutes on foot, and there are plenty of buses going up and down Van Ness Street, which is the next block.
