3. To top everything off, we asked the front desk to recommend some place nice to eat nearby (it was 8 PM after a long day of travel), and we were only given the names of the adjacent burger joint and two fast-food pizza places on scary 7th Street.

6. But other than that, it's a bit of a walk to get to good food (4-5 blocks to the mall which has a food court was where we ended up going, just because someone in our party would refuse to walk further and that had plenty of choice).

7. Small negatives -- the hotel restaurant was pretty pricey (but food and service was good), there's a Vietnamese place close by that is cheap but not good, and a pizza/calzone place that we had breakfast at that's good.
