6. That said, I (32 white male) stayed here 10 days and walked alone from the metro to the hotel almost every night and never experienced anything apart from being yelled at and lots of people asking for money.

7. To give you an idea how bad this was, I could not get refunded any portion of my money because I had booked through a third party that required a 48 hour cancellation notice and I still chose to spend an additional $600 at another hotel for my 3 night stay.

8. For the money I spent on hotel lodging for this awful place and the very nice hotel at Fisherman's Wharf, I could have stayed at a 4 star.

9. I think you could get an equally mediocre room in a better part of San Francisco (because I doubt it gets much worse) for less money.

10. There were art works made by local children on the hallway walls which guest scan buy and the money goes to programs for them.
