For access to the downtown and
waterfront
sights, we used a MUNI passport and rode the #30 bus everywhere we needed to go, about a 15-20 minute ride to Fisherman's Wharf.

Also, the Palace of the Fine Arts, and the
waterfront
were nearby, and you can take a public bus to Chinatown and Downtown.
