1. The motel is situated at the Presidio (Golden Gate) end of Lombard Street, and has two bus stops - and probably many more) within easy stepping distance - like 10 paces or 20 paces or 40 paces at most.

2. LOCATION: The location is right across the street from the beautiful grounds and buildings of the Presidio, with the Palace of Fine Arts/Exploratorium a couple blocks in one direction and a challenging walk up the Lyon street stairs (288 steps!) in the other direction.

10. It's in the perfect spot, has free parking-limited, but there is plenty of safe street parking in the area-Raymond greeted me like an old friend and was really helpful getting me and my small dog settled the day we arrived.
