Cons - no in-room coffee maker (but I did not ask for one), continental breakfast downstairs was standard and not well maintained (out of several items for quite some time), and the hotel's location is not in the best
neighborhood
- although many diverse restaurants/cafes are close.

The
neighborhood
is on the borderline of a seedy
neighborhood
to the south (lots of homeless, drug addicts, and homeless) and a nice
neighborhood
to the north.

I walked around extensively with my girlfriend and never felt in peril, but this may not be the hotel location for someone who's looking for a pristine
neighborhood

We were a little worried when we arrived- but soon enough realized that there are many high-end boutique hotels which are scattered around the soon-to-be gentrified Tenderloin
neighborhood
.

My only complaint is that the
neighborhood
is not great, especially at night.

There is some
neighborhood
noise which is easily remedied if you close the windows (this is another treat, windows that open.
