7. Located just a 3 minute walk from the Opera House, which also stages San Francisco Ballet productions, the Inn is an old-fashioned but comfortable hotel at very reasonable prices.

10. Our friends nailed a suite for a great price, so we were able to eat in the room for dinner and put the baby down at her normal bed time.
