3. Of course if you have a lot of money that you wish to spend on a luxurious room away from the main streets of San Francisco then maybe look elsewhere.

Most of the local businesses had bars on the windows, and lots of people loitering on the streets, begging for money, etc. That being said, in the same area are several luxury hotels and guests there have to endure the same noise and seedy surrounds, so if you need to be down there and are on a budget, might as well save some money.

There is certainly a lot of activity going on outside but this hotel isn't far from the more pricier hotels such as the ritz and the hilton and this is san francisco but hey people aren't wearing flowers in their hair anymore they are clutching coffee cups and begging for money for their habit whatever that is.

9. If you want value for money and a hotel with a little bit of character ( the movie themed rooms were a delight) then I would recommend you stay there and we now recommend to some our budget wise clients to do so.
