1. Once we found out the costs for parking, we decided to wait to rent-a-car after doing our 'city' tours, although it's one of the cheaper places to park.

2. (finding parking is harder than finding needle in hay stack) if you like to venture out for a day trip to Napa, sonoma or Calistoga you can rent a car from Hertz at (325 mason st) three block from the hotel and you can return the car by 10:00 PM same day.

3. If you decide to keep it over night there is a parking next to Hertz for $20.00 dollars.

4. If your driving like we did, parking at hotel (valet) is $49 per day, but there is a self park garage right next door on Sutter for $39 a day.

9. The parking fee was 45USD which is quite expensive for 1 day parking but thinking about the fact that you are downtown San Francisco then it is probably not that bad.

10. I had a car this time so I parked just in front of the hotel and that is all good but the problem is that there is no real hotel parking area which feels a bit unsecure as you are close to the traffic, not a huge deal but maybe something to think about if you are traveling with children because then it is extra important to make sure that they do not exit on the left side of the car due to the traffic.
