1. (We did because we didn't know how the city worked) They tell you about the $49/night parking fee, but failed to tell us about the $6.95/night parking TAX.

2. BUT the front desk was wonderful - they upgraded rooms to a top floor with views of the bay and reduced our per night fee - the rooms were right next door with a small foyer and front door - perfect.

3. The parking fee was 45USD which is quite expensive for 1 day parking but thinking about the fact that you are downtown San Francisco then it is probably not that bad.

5. The only negative side is the very expensive parking fees of 48$/day + taxes, specially when you have others options 1-2 blocks away at 20$/day cheaper and you have to call valet at least 20-30 minutes before you need your car or you will wait.
