1. Besides shopping, anything you could possibly need is within a few blocks: Restaurants, grocery stores (Trader Joe's right around corner, Jewel/Osco a few blocks away), Walgreens, etc. They have a nice, smallish (but bigger than many I've seen) fitness center and a small but functional business center with a couple computers and a printer.

3. The indoor pool is a very nice feature especially with kids, the fitness center was very nice for a hotel, many sites are walking distance, and with a GPS it's pretty easy to drive around the area to find things.

8. Our room (standard king) was very pleasant and included some nice touches: toiletries by Caswell Massey, free internet access, and bottled water, plus the usual iron and ironing board, coffee pot, etc.The hotel has a smallish indoor pool, a whirlpool, a sun deck, a fairly well-equipped fitness center, and a 4th floor lounge that serves double duty as a breakfast room ($11 for continental; $13 if you add hot items), and a lounge in the evening.
"Outstanding hotel in the heart of Chicago! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/10/2007 Vote
