1. The view of the city was fantastic and they had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us when we got to the roomThe location is great.

2. The hotel is chic and stylish though it is low rise so although our top (6th) floor room had reasonable views of Marina city those lower down, or at the rear of the hotel have no view.

7. Very close to a number of restaurants and bars - check out Harry Carey's and be sure to pop in Trump for a swanky cocktail with a fabulous view.

8. The Amalfi Hotel is only 6 floors in total as it is at the base of a larger office building, so, if you are looking for amazing views of Chicago, this is not the hotel for you.
