1. The location was great, a few blocks from Magnificent Mile, Subway-Clark/Lake station and other attractions were within walking distance.

2. If your a tourist as you're better off staying near the Water Tower area (on North Michigan Avenue) or near the lake (Lakeshore Drive) where you can walk in the parks, go shopping, and see Lake Michigan within a few steps.

3. Location: Just a block north of the river, a few more blocks to lots more like Michigan Ave, Millenium Park, Lake Michigan.

4. Oh yes, and the gym actually had new treadmills that worked for those who don't want to fight the winds off of the lake.

6. Also from there we took beautiful walks along the river to Lake Michigan etc and it was an easy walk from there to Michigan Avenue, The Loop and other popular areas.

7. You are right in the middle of downtown so you could walk to restaurants, clubs, museums and the lake quite easily.

9. Virtually all the main sights are within easy walking distance of the hotel and if you don't want to walk then the 'L' is a 10 minute walk away just across the river - we got the blue-line from O'Hare to Clark/Lake and within the hour we were at the hotel.
