1. So friendly, in fact, that after a day of sight-seeing, our 6 year old said 'I can't wait to see that guy and tell him what we did today!' (that 'guy' being the bell hop :) As for the parking, the parking garage is a few blocks away from the hotel, and they validate your ticket for a better rate.

2. There are first-rate hotels in New York for half the price of this establishment where I have since stayed so my advice is - don't stay here.
