Staff are really helpful and although they were full and could not gives us a late late checkout on the day we were leaving (with a 10.30pm flight) they were only too happy to let us hang onto our room until 2pm free of charge so we could return and grab a lunchtime shower and change of clothes.

2. Even if you do take a cab, it`s a reasonable charge ($6 to Time Square).

3. The concierge was always friendly and helpful and took care of restaurant details, luggage, Towncar to the airport, etc. Best of all, the front desk gave us a 3.5 hour late check-out with no charge.

6. Eventually, a couple come down and say 'No, we don`t like that room either,' and hand back a set of keys for #310 before leaving the hotel altogether, luggage in tow and calls of 'We still have to charge you for one night!' coming from the receptionist.
