1. We've stayed at the Express HI hotels before so knew the format etc we didn't want to spend a fortune on a plush 5* hotel when we didn't expect to spend a great deal of time in it, the Express HI 'did everything it said on the tin' and was a good choice for our needs.

2. Space is tight in New York City and for the money this is about as good a deal as you will likely get for a room with two full beds (we paid about 280 per night with all the taxes included).

3. I found in 'hotwire' a really good deal, I spent as much as in another small town of the united states, but instead I was in New York, two block away from Penn Station , so it easy if you travel by train and plane, it is one block from subway line.

10. I just got back from an overnight trip at the Showboat to see Daughtry at the Trump Taj Mahal--- Trump was too much money - got a GREAT deal with the Showboat - and did not have to go outside to get to the Trump Arena.
