3. The Dumont has a great feel, is perfectly located for my purposes, has a very friendly/helpful staff and offers a great healthclub/fitness center.

7. The fitness center has plenty of machines, and supplies headphones for the TVs that are on all the treadmills and elliptical machines.

10. They quickly and eagerly provide advice, restaurant recommnedations, directions, etc. The fitness center is far above what most hotels provide, and the elevators are very fast--a big plus in NYC.
