4. The one elevator on the right you could hear a cable banging up against the side of it which was not a very comforting sound,We had requested a late check out and they said they couldn't tell us anything until the morning of check-out and then they extended it a whole hour, wow.

5. We didn't ever wake up early enough to check out th breakfast but we did enjoy laying by the pool in the courtyard area, drinking shirley temples from the hotel bar, etc. This isn't your typical Holiday Inn.

6. The room was nice and the staff was very helpful and thankfully it's one of the few New Orleans Hotels that still has smoking rooms, I had a late flight out and they let me check out at Noon instead of the usual 11:00am.

8. Actually, the front desk woman in the morning was almost too perky and awake for check out purposes when one is recovering from a Bourbon Street drunk.
