1. You can always visit the hotel area for lunch and shopping, but it is nice to return to the oasis of the Outrigger.

2. Our favorite activities - biking down Haleakala, snorkeling trip to Molokini with Four Winds II, exploring the road to Hana (and a great bbq chicken lunch at Brudda Hunts BBQ, just beyond Hana), and exploring the west coast.

7. We reached earlier than the check-in time(travel agent had requested early check-in) & our condo was ready but the second one had to be inspected, so we were given maps & directions to go have lunch nearby and were allowed to check-in as soon as we got back.

8. The full kitchen comes with everything- even tupperwear- so hit up the local grocery store and save yourself some money on breakfast and lunches.
