2. Our room wasn't ready, so Rod, at the desk took my cell number, told me where the supermarket was (Sack N Save was great place for groceries) and suggested we shop for food rather than stand around waiting.

4. The Wyndham Kona is close to lots of action in downtown Kona - lots of eateries - Lava Java, Bubba Gump, dozens more - believe it or not even the Bowling Alley has great food.
