1. As a spa resort, Miraval excels with delicious and copious food (a reason to go in itself, plus there's a full bar from 3pm-10pm), fantastic spa treatments (their new gorgeous spa facility will be unveiled in spring 2012), a variety of welcoming classes and activities, beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely and clean facilities, and a gorgeous desert vista.

3. The property is beautifully landscaped with desert trees, cacti, and a rushing (manmade, but lovely) stream that meanders through the property.

7. Among the horrible experiences: constant noise outside the room; closed (!) workout facility; canceled classes and sessions; room barge-ins to measure curtains and install wall decorations; surly and indifferent restaurant service; landscaping 'in transition' (read: you get dirt); lies (yes, lies) from the staff about newspaper delivery, etc. (Full disclosure: the food was magnificent, and the wine/bar service was great.
"Shows how to go dowhill, fast and furious " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/10/2007 Vote
