8. I got the sense that a number of things have changed the place: corporate management that did an expansion that presumably led to cost cuts in other areas, Oprah's mass endorsement which has really changed the crowd, and the loss of a significant portion of great former staff.

9. One of the nicest things is that the cost of your stay covers everything (except the spa treatments) and there is no tipping accepted.

10. Per our driver back to the airport, the authentic version of my 90 minute long $185 Hammam treatment would cost approximately $10 if done in a Moroccan bathhouse where the treatment originated.
