1. My husband ran into him on the street on Christmas- you better believe if I were working on Christmas I would be in a foul mood- not so.

4. Lastly, the mattresses need to updating - they've become soft and lumpy - the Westin up the street had far superior bedding and mattresses.

On the plus side, the hotel is in great shape, the gym is windowless but very decent (free weights, a full weight machine circuit, plenty of cardio units, and fresh fruit), the street-level lobby is swarming with lots of attentive bellmen, there are free internet and toll-free phone calls (at present), and the rooms are decent size.

9. While I never felt unsafe or threatened, you do need to stay aware and be on your toes when walking the streets here.
