1. The lobby did nothing to reassure me that the whole concept behind the top nine floors of the old Meier and Frank building as a luxury hotel was more than a bit contrived but I was simply wowed by the 10 start check in and the 'boys' at the door moving in swiftly and quietly, taking charge of the car, the luggage and all the details.

9. Even though they could not give us an early check-in since the hotel was quite full, the wait was not too painstaking as the hotel had a sprawling lobby where one just sit on the comfy leather sofas and relax, with a cute library tucked in one corner and their main restaurant at one end.
