1. The location is good if you are headed to the Convention Center, which is well within walking distance.

4. It was a good 30min walk just to the next hotel venetian.

5. The location of Encore is fantastic, just a walk to the Venetian and several other resorts, but not smacked in the midst of Vegas chaos so it offered some respite.

6. not a good thing in my book, if I remember correctly lemonade in the Drugstore Cafe (which is in Wynn, a hike from Encore, you must walk past the clubs) was something like seven dollars.

7. The only concern for some, might be the fact that the building is one if the last ones on the northern end of the strip, so it's not in the middle of things happening, which to us, even this was a plus as we got the luxurious privacy while being just 5 mins walk to the center of craziness.

8. When we checked out of New York New York we decided to walk to the Encore (we have made this walk many times on previous holidays so we did know how long it was).

10. A few minor things as most hotels the snacks and bar in the room way over priced, a store 10 min walk took care of there 8.00 a bottle water paid the same water for 1.
