1. If money isn't a factor, and you're not bothered by fees that should be included in the very high room charge, then you'll probably love the Encore.

2. When you're already paying around $300 a night for the room, you really shouldn't expect to see an additional $45 a night tacked on for things like resort fees and charges for the view out your window.

Cheap little charges like the mandatory resort fee that they don't tell you about upfront and the nickel-and-dime charges for room service are decidedly out of character with the rest of the experience, and why I only give this great hotel and staff 4 stars instead of a resounding 5 star rating.

10. I'm not sure if the resort fee has been adjusted to include any of these things, but there are plenty hotel chains that are making the fee worthwhile by including the basics of snacks, soft drinks and internet.
