4. Unfortunately our one night stand with SOBE and Chelsea Hotel was kind of disappointing in terms of experience:Reading about the $35 taxi ride each way from MIA, the free shuttle service from the hotel was very attractive.

The bad: -loud music from hotel next door goes late-air conditioning doesn't always work-hot water in shower is sporadic-rooms are darkThe good: -free shuttle to and from airport-good location (2 streets over from beach, just a few blocks south of the big pedestrian mall)-very nice bed-lots of TV stations, flat screen TV-free safe in room for valuables-free drinks at happy hour (7pm to 8pm)-cute front area (eat/drinking tables, caravan tents with seating)-clean and modern-stereo in the room.
