4. but we had to find our own parking after circling a very busy street because no one was around (we were able to find a meter for a reasonable rate down the street)- We had to wait over an hour to check in as there is only one front desk agent (which is understandable for a boutique hotel but there was one group of 15 people ahead of us, clearly they needed more staff that day!)- Great location, 2 blocks away from the beach and close to the clubs- Rooms were very art deco, very funky (but VERY slow free wi-fi)- Be sure to clarify what's included in the happy hour as the bartender told us after we got our drinks- Front desk was nice enough to give us complimentary club passesWe were still relatively happy with out choice until we went out for a late night and found a large cockroach in the shower the next morning.

5. Also at check in I was told they needed a credit card because they have to hold $100 while you are there.

6. Perks - Free internet, I could check in for my flight and print out boarding passes, and free hotel shuttle to the airport with proof of flight (starting at 8am).

7. We booked our trip two months before check-in for a Standard Room with a King**size bed.

8. But, to be fair to us, they screwed us the first time by getting us psyched for the upgrade then cancelling it the day we check in, and secondly giving us the wrong room, which we booked 2 months prior & having no correct room to fix it.

9. The reception girl told us upon check in to call 20 minutes before we wanted to get the car so the valet could get the car.

10. Front desk was great - flight check in service computer (you can print out your boarding pass there) was a nice bonus as was the free wireless internet in the lobby.
