1. Light rail runs right by the hotel and can be used for travel up and down the waterfront within New Jersey, including to nearby Liberty State Park, a bit of an unknown gem.

Jersey City is more affordable, less chaotic, gives more room to breathe, and, in my opinion, offers a more attractive cityscape (Jersey City has modern and new waterfront with glassy office and residential highrises, to go along with the older parts of the city further inland that add character and tradition).
