2. From Newport Pavonia station you can get the PATH to 33rd Street (15min ride), cost $2.25 one way.

3. From 33rd Street all the attractions are walking distance(33rd Street is where Empire State Building is and 9 blocks away is Times Square).

4. From the WTC you exit to the street and can catch the R train in front of Century 21 department store or the E train another block north.

6. The hotel has a free mini bus service to the Path railway system which takes you directly to 33rd street which I think is Time Square.

9. We were pointed to go down the street, 'there are plaza buildings and there are alot of stores and restaurants there' We went down the street with a two year old and a teenager, and NO there were no stores and the one coffee shop we found was closed on the weekends.

10. Other hotels we had looked into: the Westin had good AAA rates (but they had a construction site across the street and I decided against it), the Hyatt (we went there to take pictures of the skyline, great location, PATH train station literally outside the door, but VERY pricey, nothing included).
