3. I expressed this in my Tripadvisor review, and also in an Omni review, and much to my surprise I was contacted by the manager, who graciously offered to make up for forgetting our anniversary by treating us to a free accomodation in a suite, complete with strawberries and champagne.

4. The only downside was the noise from nearby guests, and I have seen previous responses by the manager that they are about to embark on rennovations to address this.

5. If I come back to New Orleans I'll stay here again but since I know the manager reads these reviews it's odd that this has never been addressed.

10. though the unobtrusive mini in-hotel Starbucks advertised as closing at 8pm; we arrived back at the hotel at 6pm after a l-o-n-g day sightseeing and in need of a coffee, only to be told by the duty manager that it had been closed early for renovations (nope, the next morning nothing had changed or been done!).
