4. I will suggest this try to get a room on the 8-9 or 10 floor, Its like being in NY city and your have more of a chance of not hearing the street noise.

9. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - CBD at Canal and St Charles, Two Street Cars close, Marigny and Quarter are all walkable etc. But we did our best to stay on the streets and out of the room as the amenities weren't amazing.
